Research focus
The main subjects on which we have
produced a wide diversity of papers and monographs are:
Poverty and Destitution;
Food Security; Land Tenure;
Governance; Gender;
and
Environment and Natural Resource Management.
FSS' first book co-published with the Nordic
Africa Institute of Uppsala, Sweden, and entitled
Ethiopia: The Challenge of Democracy from Below came out at the end of 2002.
